KIT has its own website<\/strong><\/a> to help you get started with your studies. For the degree programs at our faculty, there is also the Startklar<\/strong><\/a>website, where you can find information and links to all kinds of introductory events for our department, from preliminary courses to mentoring throughout the first semester.<\/p>

However, the wealth of information can be quite overwhelming, so we strongly recommend our Orientation Week<\/strong><\/a>where tutors can show you what is important and answer your questions. Finding accommodation in Karlsruhe is not easy, but as a student you do have a few options:<\/p>

You can apply for accommodation at the \"Studierendenwerk\"<\/a><\/strong> , which also offers a private accomodation service.<\/p>

There are also self-managed dormitories where you can apply directly:
