Office hours during the lecture-free period
Dear students etc.,
We want to be there for you during the lecture-free period as well, supporting you during exams and lab practicals.
Every Wednesday, we will open the student council office from 1-2 PM, selling old exam questions and lab materials, and answering emails!
Feel free to drop by!
Department Student Assembly
The chair of the ChemBio student council invites all students in the department to attend the department student assembly.
In contrast to our regular weekly meetings, a separate invitation is sent out for department student assemblies. Decisions going beyond the authority of a regular meeting are made here.
The department student assembly will take place on the 25th of February at 7 PM, in R005 (Bld. 30.43)
Sip & Craft
On Friday, February 13, we will be hosting a Sip & Craft in R005 in the Biotower (30.43).
The name of the game is arts & crafts, painting, drawing (and maybe a glass of wine or two). If this is up your alley, register using the form below!
Please bring your own materials. We look forward to seeing you there!
"Rührfisch" of the Week
This year as well, we’re continuing our weekly spotlight, featuring a small detail, an institution or committee, a key person, or helpful tips about life in Karlsruhe. This week: the O-Phase Organization

Office Hours
Lecture season has come around again! And with it, we resume our regular daily office hours, where you can acquire old exam questions, lab supplies, and our sage advice. If you're new to the KIT and want a tour of the campus, we're happy to organise that. Just write us a message the day before, and we can have someone show you around.
Student Council Meetings
Our meetings take place every Wednesday* at 6.30 PM in R005 of the biology tower (building 30.43). At these meetings, we discuss various topics relevant to students. If you would like to drop by, it is best to come to the student council office shortly before the meeting starts. We will then go to the meeting room together.
*During the lecture-free period, meetings always take place on the first Wednesday of the month.
Have a great semester!
"Rührfisch" of the Week

In addition to our website, the "Rührfisch" of the Week is also posted on Instagram (@fschembiokit) and on our Discord server. "Rührfisch" is an endearing name (literally "stirring fish") for the magnetic stirring bar, found in chemistry labs throughout the world.
