For the degree programs at our faculty, there is also the Startklarwebsite, where you can find information and links to all kinds of introductory events for our department, from preliminary courses to mentoring throughout the first semester.
However, the wealth of information can be quite overwhelming, so we strongly recommend our Orientation Weekwhere tutors can show you what is important and answer your questions. In addition, the lab coat fitting takes place there, where you can order your first lab set.
Finding accommodation
Finding accommodation in Karlsruhe is not easy, but as a student you do have a few options:
You can apply for accommodation at the "Studierendenwerk" , which also offers a private accomodation service.
There are also self-managed dormitories where you can apply directly:
