List of Responsibilities in the Student Council

  • IT Information technology of the student council.
  • Lending: Contact person for the student council’s lending pool.
  • Division council: Central council of the division. Authority superior to the faculty.
  • Data protection: Responsible for the protection of personal data in accordance with the GDPR within the student council.
  • Department council: Central committee of the faculty. Approves study, examination, and doctoral regulations.
  • Treasurer: Manages the student council’s funds. Assists with applications for the use of funds from the general student committee.
  • Student council conference (FSK): Meeting of the student councils for exchange and coordination.
  • Exam collectors: Collects old exams and updates the templates.
  • Party Office: Contact person for events organized by the student council.
  • Examination commission: Joint decision-making commission with the faculty on hardship applications, recognition of study and examination achievements, disadvantage compensation applications, etc.
  • Audit Committee: Checks the expenditure of funds for formalities and intended use and advises the general assembly on the discharge of the executive committee.
  • “Rührfisch der Woche” (RdW): Rührfisch of the Week
  • Shop manager: Organizes the procurement and distribution of laboratory supplies.
  • Game night organizer: Organizes the student council’s game nights and represents it in to the Thoule gaming club.
  • Office hours: The daily work of the student council. Advising students, issuing exam transcripts, performing administrative tasks.
  • Study commission (StuKo): Deals with issues directly related to the degree program in cooperation with the dean of studies and several other stakeholders. 
  • Chairmen: Management of day-to-day business, preparation of the budget, general point of contact, invitations
  • Election manager: Ensures that the elections for the student body at our faculty run smoothly and in accordance with the rules.
